As the coordinator for a think tank which happens to operate online, I am constantly talking to innovators, inventors, and creative geniuses about their ideas and latest new concepts. Now then, I will admit some of these concepts are absolutely ridiculous, and completely laughable, but others do make a lot of sense, and many of them might even change the way you live. Often they solve the issue in our society or civilization, or they make an organization more efficient, or make our way of life little easier.
They claim that; “necessity is the mother of invention,” and there is probably an excellent amount of truth to that, at least from my own observations and experiences. And each and every time we have a difficulty, someone comes along with a solution, and an invention or innovation to go together with it. However, before they are able to get their invention for the marketplace, they have to go and acquire Tech. It’s amazing exactly how much it costs to obtain an actual patent filed, to perform the patent search, to fill out all of the paperwork, and then you have to wait.
We hear a great deal in our society about “winning the near future” and every one of that seems to strike a chord with America, our company is saying yes, we wish to progress mankind, you want our nation to be on the leading edge as we go into the future, and that we want our innovators, entrepreneurs, and inventors to travel available and get it done. Yes, that’s a noble calling, and that i think that Americans are prepared to answer that call. But it’s just ludicrous, and insane for people to make them jump through numerous hoops, and to generate thousands of dollars to file a patent, that money could be used designing their first prototype in their garage.
It appears society is busy crushing business entrepreneur, and taking part in crony capitalism for free political war chest credits through large corporate lobbyists. We have been doing everything on the planet to crush the little guy, then we have been asking that middle-class, those producers to pay more in taxes. Are you currently kidding me? Apparently not! Our company is triggered think that that’s how you can move our nation forward. I would say for you America – that it’s not.
Recently I read an extremely interesting article in the LA times, in the small business section on July 11, 2011. The content was titled; “Patent Bill Creates Worry for Independent Inventors – US Legislation Would Alter the System to Paper Those First to File Ideas,” by Cynthia’s Zwhalen. This article noted the average patent took 33.9 months to achieve, and this the Inventhelp Invention Idea and Trademark Office includes a backlog as of May 2011 of 703,000, 175.
Those statistics are quite scary, much more scary than the cost to submit a concept patent, when you receive completed with the drawings, the patent search, the patent attorneys, as well as the filing fees – basically, you’re easily taking a look at between 15,000 to 25,000 dollars. Without a patent someone will just rip you off, steal your idea, and mass produce it in China and after that market it around the globe. It doesn’t make sense to sign up in a game that is rigged.
Worse, there exists a terrible problem with intellectual property being stolen from Americans. And if we are to win the long run, we have to protect ourselves, and we need a small amount of tea, and a little the help of the government to travel on the market and help us. Once you file a patent, it doesn’t mean anything, you still have to protect yourself, and hire lawyers to travel after anybody who attempts to rip them back, which costs a lot more than filing a patent.
Not to mention the veracity that if a Corporation has somehow violated New Product Idea, they can run you out of income, since they have in-house lawyers, up until you finally have to quit. That simply adds insult to injury to the nearly three years it took to obtain your patent, and all of the price you’ve already create front. The world needs these inventions and innovations now, not only for renewable energy, new transportation devices, and better services and products that are safer for the environment, but we need that tznwus businesses will get started, and begin hiring Americans, and obtain people back to work.
The federal government says it’s working on the problem, and possibly it thinks it really is, however, when I reminisce and scan the very last decade, all I see are the problems that they’ve made with an enormous bureaucracy which has gotten us to this particular point, as opposed to put us within the driver’s seat, to begin with. I would personally submit to you that everything many of these gentlemen are going to do to fix the problem, isn’t working, and we might have been happier with no of it, we must have saved the money. Please consider all this and think onto it.
